MARRIAGE SERVICES
Since the founding of Muslims for Progressive Values, we have helped hundreds of couples of diverse faith backgrounds formalize their marriage vows while incorporating the traditions of Islam.
If you are one of the many Muslims, men or women, marrying outside the faith, at MPV, we do not require conversion by the non-Muslim partner. Please view the theological basis for the permissibility for such a marriage at the bottom of the page.
Today, we offer couples the chance to connect with our network of Muslim wedding officiants. Each officiant brings their own unique background and experience to engaged couples, while pledging to uphold MPV's principles of inclusion.
For answers to the most frequently asked questions and to book your officiant, download the package and contact them individually to learn more about their service, availability, and pricing.
Once a booking has been made, our officiant services include consultation, a custom marriage ceremony, a personalized nikah contract, and a beautifully designed marriage certificate. To learn more about our marriage services, please answer a few brief questions to download the package.
Please read the package carefully. It explains our marriage services and the steps you need to take to secure our services.
PLEASE NOTE: Once you fill in the form and download the package, you decide which officiant/imam you want to work with and it is up to you to contact him/her directly.
Should you have more questions for services in the U.S. please email: weddings@mpvusa.org
Please note: we are not a matchmaking service, please do not email us with requests for marriage candidates. We cannot and will not conduct polygamous marriages.

Marriage Counseling
Muslims for Progressive Values offers donation-based marriage counseling for couples with specific questions regarding the permissibility of interfaith marriage and navigating family dynamics. If you are looking for marriage counseling prior to booking your nikah, please fill out the consultation form here. To sustain these counseling services, we ask that a $50 donation / 30 minute session be made to Muslims for Progressive Values here.
